Isaiah 45:2-3

1. I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.
2. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, and the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.

No one knows the truth of God's Word and not believe. It makes all the difference when you know the truth, especially about His unfailing involvement in the day to day sadness and joy of our life. But many people do not know this truth, or they simply do not believe it. And they misunderstand the activities of enemies and misplace the place of enemies in their life.

I pray God will open the eyes of your understanding to know that for us in Christ, the enemies are no threat to us. Rather they are instruments in the hand of our Father to push us into our destiny. I am saying enemies are actually friends misunderstood.

When we are facing difficulties in life, and you don’t understand where the problems stem from, it is possible to assume that it is an attack from the devil. And it's easier to attribute the situations to some people we believe are our enemies.

Do not get me wrong. I am not saying there are no enemies. There are enemies. You have the devil, who wants to take away your blessings, and take your life, and destroy you. And you have people that don't like you. They hate you. When you are riding high, they hate. When you are going under, they are happy. They talk bad about you. They sabotage your efforts. When you are glad, they are sad. And when you are sad, they rejoice. They never want to see you doing well. John 10:10; 1 Peter 5:8.

You can't do without the devil roaring, or some enemies hating. But the true victory over the enemies is not for them to be absent, but for you to flourish and prosper, without fear or doubt, even in their presence. Psalms 23:5.

And the good news is whether it's men, or demons, or the devil himself, they have no power to hurt you any greatly. Your Lord Jesus has put them in their place, under your feet. You are well above them. No matter what they do to hurt you; no matter how they try; the Lord promise to use it to bless you. Your God is the Almighty God. He's got all power in His hand. Isaiah 54:17.

You got to know that those enemies you see attacking you, God is using them to move you toward your destiny. Nothing happens by accident. No one comes into your life simply by coincidence. Folks or foes, God brings them in for a purpose. Every enemy you come across is a challenge in your life. And he comes to deposit something in you.

You may not like what that guy did to you. You may not like where you find yourself. But the truth is that the enemy is an instrument in the hand of your God. The time he caused you to fail or sabotage you, are not wasted. It is God that is using him to propel you to the next level.

God uses the enemies to kick you out of your comfort zone. You don’t really grow with those you are comfortable with. You grow with those who challenge you. Around the people that don’t like you, your spiritual muscles are developed. You gain strength, endurance, wisdom, and power to be all you can be.

And you have big enemies because you have a big destiny. They are there to play their roles to push you into your destiny. If you had been an average guy or a mediocre, no one has time to hate you, or talk about you, or attack you. But you are not average. Average people don’t have raging enemies. You are not ordinary. You are extraordinary. God is getting you prepared for the great destiny by bringing raging enemies into your path. Don’t be surprised if you have extra-wicked enemies. You have an extra-wonderful destiny.

Think about Joseph. As a teenager God showed him in a dream that he was going to lead a nation. But his own brothers turned against him in envy, jealousy, and anger. And they became his enemies. And they threw him in the pit, and then sold him into slavery, where he was later put in prison. Joseph went through life doing the right thing to people, while the people were doing the wrong things to him.

It did not look like Joseph had favor with anyone. But Joseph had this principle in mind, that the enemies could not stop what God was doing in his life. He believed God was only using them to move him toward his destiny.

Looking at his life, you will see how God put it all together. Every attack was strategically placed and timed to push Joseph to the next level. His brothers hated him and sold him into slavery. Potiphar’s wife lied on him and sent him to jail. But in jail, he met the butler whose dream he interpreted. And the butler told Pharaoh about Joseph. And he was put in charge of the empire of Egypt.

All those enemies did not make sense to no one. They all looked like wicked predators. But they were all part of God’s plan to move Joseph little by little into his destiny. God knows what He is doing. He knew He would need someone in Egypt to show favor to the Israelites. He set the enemies against Joseph to put that plan in place. It all looked like bad attacks from the pit of hell. But in reality it was all a plan of God. The enemies thought they were doing him evil, while in fact, they were instruments in the hands of God to move Joseph unto the throne of Egypt.

Like Joseph, God is getting you prepared. He is taking you to the next level. Do not worry so much about the enemies. Don’t complain too much either. They are really not to hinder you, but to speed you up. They are not there to defeat you but to push you forward. You are not going to be who you are today without some provocations from enemies.

You got to start walking in this powerful attitude. The key is in trusting that the Lord is with you, and say, "I know some enemies do not want me to break through, but I trust You, Lord. I know some are standing in my path to block my progress, but I still trust You. I know they want me to fall and to fail. But I know I cannot fail, because my Father in heaven cannot fail." Romans 8:31; Hebrews 13:5.

You don’t have to live scared and fearful. God says He will push down your oppositions. He will defeat your enemies. That sickness, that lack, or that reproach, He will remove from you. They will not get the best of you. You are anointed to prosper even with them watching. God says you will rise to power, that is, you will see increase, greatness, breakthroughs, and promotion. And you will be fulfilled.

I am looking at you all. And I am seeing people who believe God is in control even in the presence of enemies. And I see you standing up. I see visions and dreams standing out, and you becoming outstanding.

You may not choose to be under enemy attack. But when you see how your God deals with them; how He delivers you; how He turns your enemies into your friends, you will know that in fact, they are weapons of progress.

Did He not say He will go before you...? When someone is going before you, that means you are following his back. That means whatever is in front of you both, he will take care of it. You only need to follow behind him. And when God is going before you, who can stand before Him? It means nothing can stand in your way. Barriers will give way to breakthroughs. Obstacles will bow to miracles.

The Lord says He will straighten out the crooked ways. He is saying all the things that have gone wrong, even in your DNA, all the things you've got wrong, even those things you have done wrong, He will correct them all and bring miracles out of your mistakes.

He says He will break down the gates of bronze. He is talking about principalities, and powers, and the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual hosts of evil in the heavens. He says He will break them into pieces. He will arrest them and keep them captive. Ephesians 6:12.

He also says He is going to cut the bars of iron. The bars of iron are those things that are within you that are keeping you stagnant. These are stuff like anger, envy, jealousy, hate, pride, lying, or greed, things that define your character, and are keeping you from becoming all that God wants you to become.

And the Lord says He is going to give you the treasures of darkness, and riches hidden in secret places. You might think He is talking about riches that belong to the forces of darkness, or the wealth of the unbelievers. No. Those are just the tip of the iceberg. He is talking about riches, the magnitude of which your imagination cannot fathom. You don't have enough room in your mind to imagine it. These are unexpected riches. You don’t work for it. You don't think you deserve it. But He is going to give it to you. Ephesians 3:20.

Friend, you don't have to fear no one. You don't have to hate those who hate you, or curse those who curse you. You don't have to do fist fight with no one. Your fight is the fight of faith, not fight of fist. 1Timothy 6:12.

When Jesus asks you to pray for your enemies, He knows what He is saying. He knows with Him, your enemies are weapons of progress for your life. And when you pray for them you speed up the purpose of the Lord to be fulfilled in your life. Matthew 5:44.

Today, if you will lose your doubt and find your faith and trust the Lord, God is going to fight your battles. He will shut the mouth of your enemies, and open doors for you to go through. And He will do new and great things in your life, even in the presence of your enemies.

With His holy oil
The Lord shall anoint you
He will steady you with His hand
And with His powerful arm

Your enemies will not defeat you
The wicked shall not overpower you
The Lord will beat down your foes
Right before your face

I believe and declare
His faithfulness and His mercy
Shall be with you
In His name and favor
Your horn shall be exalted
You shall greatly increase
And become great

In all your days
You will sing of the mercies of the Lord
